For weekend use buildings can be occupied from 6 p.m. Friday and must be vacated by 6 p.m. Sunday.
Weekly occupation is from 2 p.m. Saturday to 12 noon the following Saturday.
If these times do not meet with your needs please give the Warden a call.

A high quality environmentally friendly building, opened in 2003, constructed of
Scandinavian Pine containing sleeping accommodation for up to 28
persons in bedrooms of up to 6 persons. The building has a fully fitted
stainless steel kitchen, shower and toilet facilities and dedicated
special needs facilities. The Leaders room is en suite.
Rowallan is especially suitable for Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and
Brownies as it incorporates an alarm system which, when set, will sound
should anyone enter or leave the building.
The cost includes all gas and electricity and camp fees for up to 30 persons.
You are advised to book early as Rowallan is very popular.

Progress towards completion of the new Margaret Noble building has been much slower than expected.
However, we now have planning permission and can move on to the next stage.
Completion is expected in mid Summer.

Maclean/Somers has a large hall, toilets and washrooms with hot water
and incorporates a large kitchen that includes 6-burner gas cooker,
large double oven, fridge and freezer and is suitable for catering for
larger numbers. Kitchen utensils, cutlery, mugs, plates and bowls for
45 persons are also included.
The
sleeping accommodation is for 44 persons in compartments 2x4 bunk beds
2x10 bunk beds and 2x8 bunk beds. There is a toilet block outside.
There is a camping field adjacent to this complex for your sole use.
All lighting, cooking and heating is included in the price which also
includes camp fees for up to 44 persons.

fees. It has no facilities except for lighting. Dedicated in memory of
Roy Thornton, a member of Chalfont's Junior Service Crew and donated by
his family. |
